<sub>I am becoming less active on deviantART... I'm mostly just bored of this website, but there really are too many art thieves here and it's really getting to me (none of my art stolen, but I've seen sooo many cases of people submitting things from Google, traced art, art heavily "inspired" by another person's work, and especially "renders")... This place is becoming more and more like Photobucket rather than a respectable art website.

I've been more active on my Tumblr account, lately, and I tend to post some nice sketches/doodles & art from school, too. It's also partly my inspiration and general interest blog, so you might like the kinds of things I post/reblog, as well. Just check my archive or tag page to see what kinds of things you'll find there.

I'll be a lot less active here in the future, unless I decide to open commissions or something. Even then, other websites are probably better...

I submitted a poll about a month ago wondering if I should offer free requests for my watchers (as a kind of celebratory gesture of having gained over 100 watchers)... not many people voted on the poll, but if you are interested in receiving a free art request of a specific character, animal, etc. feel free to comment with your request (providing a link to your character's reference, unless it is a well known character from a video game or anime series, for example) or maybe with what style, theme, or background you may want ---though I can't guarantee that I will include a background.

I know gaining over 100 watchers doesn't seem like much of a milestone or a reason to celebrate, but I appreciate the support and I am grateful that people like my art enough to want to see more of my work / my future creations. Thanks. ^^

I'm also still going through a terrible period of art block or frustration with art - it feels like it's just getting worse as days pass without me even sketching/doodling something decent (I haven't even made art with an acceptable background in ages, nor have I used colors much in over a year or two).

I'm hoping that taking requests like this will help with getting rid of the art block, or at least it will be a starting point (something about committing myself to drawing something specific or promising someone that I will make art for 'em makes it more difficult to avoid doing it or putting it off / procrastinating)..  

I guess that's about it (if I forgot an important detail or bit of information, I'll update the journal)..      /really tired lol
